A bit about me!
Bio
Lovely to meet you! I’m James, a Cork based, documentary style wedding and street photographer. I’ve been shooting for close to 10 years now in an attempt to capture the fleeting moments and details of everyday life that often go unnoticed, but appreciated upon presentation. Earlier in my photographic journey a kind lady once commented that one of my photos gave off “Martin Parr vibes, but better”. This wildly false and flattering statement, first introduced me to one of the greats and started a real appreciation for the genre of street and documentary photography.
My approach
When it comes to weddings my approach is to capture that for what it really is, one of the best days ever! I will capture the moments of joy and emotion as they unfold, documenting them without interjecting or pulling you out of them. Ensuring your wedding day, is your day! Goes without saying though, that we can spend some time taking some lovely portraits for the mantle piece.
